facts about Jamie Wall

     
Jamie started karting at the age of 10, representing Britain before he was sixteen in the European and World Junior Championships. Collecting over forty trophies in five years.
   
Graduated from the Nigel Mansell Racing School @ 14 and the Jim Russell Racing School @ 15, whilst still too young to be granted a race or road licence.
 
Jamie then became the first sixteen year old to achieve the new Junior National B race licence.
 
By 1995 he was competing in the Dunlop Rover Turbo Cup and in 1996 he competed in the Dunlop Rover Turbo Cup, Grand Prix Support Race.
Jamie was awarded the "Star of the Future" trophy this year.
   
Jamie then chose to compete in Saloon cars, rather than the single seater formulas (as they are really designed for people standing at 6ft 3") He started by competing in the Driving for Life XR2 Challenge and regularly finished in the top six
     
In 1997, when he was still only 19, he competed in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC)

1998 He competed in the AMP Bathurst in Australia.
 
 
Jamie is also a Senior Race Driver Instructor for Octagon Motorsport.

In 2000 he competed in the Race of a 1000 years on New Years Eve in Australia
   
Jamie was invited on Sky Sports as a commentator on the Rockingham round of NASCAR
